ENA’s Active Network Management Working Group was formed in late 2013. Its aim is to develop consistent understanding in the emerging method of Active Network Management and its application on electricity networks across the UK.
The group has commissioned Baringa Partners and TNEI Services to develop a Good Practice Guide (GPG) for Active Network Management, which aims to:
• Provide a common understanding of Active Network Management, identifying considerations and issues to overcome when deploying Active Network Management at all voltage levels in the UK.
• Highlight case studies and use as reference points whilst informing a common understanding amongst Network Operators.
• To create and consolidate initial reference material to inform future standards and recommendations from network operator experience to date.
